The Camiguin Polytechnic State College (CPSC) conducted Annual In-House Review of Research and Extension (AIHRRE) proposals on 20 February 2019 at the CPSC Multimedia Center and Board Room. Dr. Macario B. Oclarit, President, CPSC welcomed the participants. In his message, he emphasized the importance of research, development and extension endeavors for the college and in up scaling the Camiguin province in the areas of research, development and extension (RD&E) initiatives. Dr. Oclarit said that “CPSC as an academic institution needs to uphold its mandate through the conduct of RD&E.”

The conduct of the AIHRRE aimed to review the objectives of the research, development and extension projects which are proposed to be implemented this year by the college in collaboration with the different stakeholders.

The AIHRRE was actively participated by the various Institutes and Offices of CPSC. A total of 45 papers presented where in the sectors of agriculture, aquatic, engineering, education and ecotourism. Evaluators of the proposals were experts from DOST, DA and DepED.

CPSC, being a NOMCAARRD member institution has actively participated in the Regional Symposium on Research and Development Highlights (RRSDH) by presenting research papers.
