The 32nd Regional Symposium for Research and Development Highlights (RSRDH) is hosted by the Northern Mindanao Consortium for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (NOMCAARRD), with the theme “Facing the AAFNR Challenges with a New Perspective,” which was held online through Zoom on December 2-3, 2020.
The RSRDH was established to evaluate research projects carried out by various member agencies, to promote interaction between and among researchers, extension workers, local government units, and other clienteles, to foster regional collaboration and information among member agencies, to establish a future direction in research and development in Agriculture, Fisheries, Natural Resources, and Environment (AFNRE), and to provide a venue where Science and Technology-Based Farm could be discussed (STBF). As part of the process, outstanding contributions to the advancement of R&D efforts in the region are recognized.
The RSRDH criteria were used to evaluate a total of 12 papers in the research category, 5 papers in the development category, 2 papers for the thesis/dissertation category, and 2 posters. Certificates and cash prizes were given to the winners.
