  • To plan, monitor and evaluate related activities in agriculture, fisheries, forestry environment, and natural resources;
  • To develop and implement a system of research management attuned to the development efforts of the region to maximize the utilization of research results to support regional development; and,
  • To source other funds for use in the implantation of research and development program.

NOMCAARRD envisions a productive, competitive, and sustainable Science and Technology (S&T)-based Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources (AANR) sector in Northern Mindanao. As a regional research and development consortium, it is committed to develop knowledge and provide innovative technologies through collaboration and networking with local and international organizations to bring about improvement for the AANR sectors. Such generated knowledge and technologies were previously disseminated via broadcast (DXMU) and Facebook Page platforms.

The recent activation and opening of “NOMCAARRD Website” through the concerted efforts of the Science Communication Cluster and ICT Cluster Coordinators, and technical expert would be a breakthrough for NOMCAARRD. With this, we are confident to have a wider reach for our Consortium Member Institutions (CMIs) and other stakeholders.

We wish to thank the RRDCC Chair and CMU President, DR. JESUS ANTONIO G. DERIJE for his overwhelming support to this endeavor.

Congratulations!
