NOMCAARRD joins in AseL Project inception meeting

The recently approved DOST-PCAARRD funded project entitled “Augmenting and Strengthening the eLibrary (AseL) Services in the Regional R&D Consortia Base Agencies” held an Inception Meeting via Zoom on February 8, 2023, participated by the 8 regional consortia: CORCAARRD, CLAARRDEC, MAARRDEC, CVAARRDEC, ILAARRDEC, SOXAARRDEC, CCAARRD, AND NOMCAARRD. NOMCAARRD Director, Dr. Emmanuel Pacheco Leaño, ICT Coordinator Mr. Rinante M. Buntod, and Science Communication Cluster Coordinator, Mr. Reymlani P. Sullera were able to attend the meeting and shared inputs.

 

CMU Library, through NOMCAARRD, has been chosen as one of the beneficiaries of the Department of Science and Technology-Science & Technology Information Institute (DOST-STII)-led AseL project that was approved for the implementation effective December 16, 2022.

AseL will serve as the enhanced version of the Science Library Integrated Management System (SLIMS) which contains a collection of AANR Materials particularly products of R&D initiatives put together in an e-library system.

 

The inception meeting served as a venue for the beneficiaries and the consortia to meet and be familiar with the project implementation mechanisms, hence, learn their respective roles toward achieving the desired project outputs.
